Meridian CUSD #223 Receives ISBE "Financial Recognition" Notification

The Meridian CUSD #223 was recently notified by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) that it attained the ranking of "Financial Recognition" based on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2006 audit and report to the state board. Financial Recognition is the highest level that a school district may earn. The announcement of the recognition comes later than usual because of the delay in distributing the State Report Card.
