Meridian School Board and SVEA Honor 2007 Retirees
Over 280 years of combined service to Meridian CUSD #223

On Thursday, My 24, 2007, the Meridian CUSD #223 School Board and Stillman Valley Education Association formally honored 10 district employees who retired at the end of the school year. Following dinner, each retiree was introduced and presented an engraved watch. Retiring from the district were: Diane Bruch, District Human Resources (20+ years); Butch Kuntzelman, MJH custodian (33 years); Mary Ann Akey, Highland teacher (31 years); Susan Moon, Highland teacher (18 years); Dean Johnson, SVHS teacher (34 years); Robert Maas, SVHS teacher (14 years); Linda Ator, MJH teacher (27+ years); Dave Lamoreux, MJH teacher (33 years) and Reg Murray, MJH teacher (39 years).
