Board Continues Work on Targeting Achievement Through Governance

Next session scheduled for August 23rd at 6:00 p.m.

The Meridian CUSD #223 School Board will continue with the second phase of  the Targeting Achievement through Governance (TAG) program at its next regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, August 23rd.  The meeting time has been moved up to 6:00 p.m. to allow for additional time. TAG is a collaborative process involving School Board members, administrators, teachers, staff and community members where policy items and administrative procedures are identified to best improve student achievement.  The School Board is currently in a the training process to utilize "Research Based Best Practices" in the development and implementation of board policy. Training is provided through the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB).
