October 18, 2007
At its regularly scheduled meeting on October 10, 2007, them Meridian CUSD #223 School Board was presented with a demonstration of the Skyward Family Access system, which will be implemented at the beginning of the second grading period of this school year. Through a link on the school district's web page, parents and students will have access to "real time" grades and specific information on how students performed on all homework, quizzes and tests. Parents will also have access to a messaging system that allows for direct communication with their child's teachers. Additionally, the system provides information on attendance, discipline, missing assignments, lunch account and health information. Information on grade point average and class rank will be available for high school students.
The implementation of Skyward Family Access is an outcome of the District's and School Board's goal of providing the best possible communication for parents and the school staff to work together to help students succeed. The following link provides information on many of the features that Skyward Family Access will provide.
