School Board Presented FY 07 Audit
Annual review of district finances
October 27, 2007
At its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, October 25, 2007, the Meridian CUSD #223 School Board was presented the Fiscal Year (FY) 2007 audit by Curt Kleckler, representing the Certified Public Accounting Firm of Millikin, Benning, Kleckler and Kobischka, LLC.
The audit, also known as the Annual Financial Report (AFR), showed the district having revenues exceeding expenditures by $1,443,071 for all operating funds. The following table shows the three major operating funds for FY 07

The audit also showed the school district earning the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) financial ranking of "Recognition", which is the highest ranking provided by the ISBE.
