Board Recognizes SVHS All-State Music Students
Six Students Earn Award

The Meridian CUSD #223 School Board recognized six Stillman Valley High School students for earning one of the states's highest music awards at its' regularly scheduled meeting on March 20th. Each of the six students earned an All-State designation by the Illinois Music Educators' Association. This recognition is extremely difficult to attain and is considered one of the top honors in music. The following students were recognized by the School Board.
Nicole Jagielski, All-State Honors Band
Christina Winter, All-State Honors Band
Vicki Werckle, All-State Honors Choir
Nate Beck, All-State Honors Choir
Jordan Warner, All –State Honors Choir
Alex Nyman, All-State Choir
The School Board also acknowledged the contribution of Mr. Brad
Owen (choral director) and Ms. Natalie Haas (band director) for
their contribution.
