Board Approves 2008-2009 Calendar

At its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 10, 2008, the Meridian CUSD #223 School Board approved the 2008-2009 school year calendar. The calendar was developed in conjunction with the Byron, Oregon and Winnebago School Districts because of the significant number of shared courses at the high schools and in the area of special education. Another goal of the calendar was provide enough attendance days so that first semester exams could be administered prior to the Christmas Vacation.
Another feature in the calendar are five early release days which will be utilized for coordination of curriculum throughout the school district. Please click on the link below for additional information regarding the 2008-2009 calendar.
