Board Recognizes SVHS FFA Degree Recipients
7 students earn state and national degrees

At its regularly scheduled meeting on May 22, 2008, the Meridian CUSD #223 School Board recognized seven Stillman Valley High School Students for earning special Future Farmer of America (FFA) degrees. FFA advisor Jay Williams reviewed the process and requirements to earn the State FFA Degree and the American FFA Degrees. Meridian School Board President, Ron Steenken presented the students with certificates on behalf of the School Board and expressed appreciation for the high level of achievement that the FFA degree recipients demonstrated in earning the awards. The following SVHS students were recognized:
Becca DeVries: Illinois State FFA Degree
Meth Myelle: Illinois State FFA Degree
Jade Glendenning: Illinois State FFA Degree
*Cassie Glendenning: Illinois State FFA Degree
Cindall Marsh: Illinois State FFA Degree
Jordyn Strohman: Illinois State FFA Degree
*Lauren Larson: American FFA Degree (2007 graduate)
