Meridian Elementary PTO Continues Strong Support of Schools
Planing to Contribute $44,000 to Highland and Monroe Center in 2008-2009

The Meridian Elementary PTO presented a review of their 2007-2008 activities to the Meridian CUSD #223 School Board at its regularly scheduled meeting in June. PTO President, Lisa Shaw, and PTO members Carrie Britnell and Nancy Schabacker shared fund raising events and activities conducted during 2007-2008 and the budget for 2008-2009. Bingo Night held in both elementary buildings was a particularly successful fund raiser for the 2007-2008 year.
The PTO continues to provide significant resources for the District's elementary children and staff. The School Board expressed appreciation for their work and commitment to the District's students.
