Meridian CUSD 223 would like to express its deepest gratitude to the students, staff and community that participated in our third Cardinal Pride Day. There were over 65 volunteers that sacrificed their time and effort in helping the district complete important projects for the start of the school year. Some of the projects included, weeding and mulching of flower beds, loading of over 90 boxes old text books to be removed, removal of old lighting fixtures, preparation of new freshman football practice field. The Stillman Valley Fire Protection District volunteered their time and grass rig to wash off an area of the building to be painted. Director of Buildings and Grounds Jon Mickle “We are very fortunate to have a community that comes together when their schools need them, this is just one example of the care our community has for how the facilities look and function for all stake holders”. Thank you again and Go Cardinals!! Sincerely, District Leadership Team
