The MCUSD223 Choirs have had an excellent end to the school year! Our second semester involved lots of opportunities to compete. This year, our 6-12 choirs brought home Superior and Excellent ratings at the IHSA Organizational, IHSA Solo & Ensemble, Rt. 72 Organizational, Rt. 72 Solo & Ensemble, & MJHS Music in The Parks contests. Congratulations to all! We ended our year with our final 4th-12th grade choir concert, where we honored our 8th graders and seniors, and with special performances for graduation and 8th grade promotion.
To my students, families, and every community member who has supported our choral program, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has been an honor and a privilege to get to work with these amazing students! Thank you all for the laughter, memories, experiences, and music we got to share. I hope everyone has a great summer break!
