As a result of the resignation of a member of the Meridian CUSD 223 Board of Education, the district is currently seeking applicants to fill that position. Any interested candidates should turn in a cover letter and resume to BOTH John Smith (jsmith@mail.meridian223.org), BOE President, and Elaine Nicholson (enicholson@mail.meridian223.org), the Coordinator to the BOE, by 12:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026.
Applicants selected will have the opportunity to interview. The interview date(s) will be determined by the number of applicants received. Interviews will be conducted no sooner than May 6, 2026.
The term of the appointment will run through the next Consolidated election in Spring of 2027.
