A big thank you to the PTO, SRO Kingham, and Royal Blue for helping make Principal for a Day such a fantastic experience for Emmett! 🎉

Principal Emmett jumped right into the role by helping with morning announcements, passing out supplies, and walking the hallways to check in with students and staff. He did an amazing job leading for the day!

Thank you to all the families who purchased tickets and supported the PTO through this fun event. Your support helps create memorable experiences for our students and school community!

Excellent group of parents, educators, board members, municipalities, and students came together and spent their weekend strategic planning for the district. We examined strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the district to identify what the next steps for #223 will be. Thank you to everyone who participated and for continuing the conversation.

Meridian CUSD #223 is proud to recognize Lincoln, a student at Highland Elementary, for his incredible initiative and leadership. After noticing that some classmates were running low on classroom supplies, Lincoln organized a school supply drive to help support students in his class and across Highland. Lincoln’s kindness, awareness, and willingness to take action are wonderful examples of the character and leadership we strive to build in our students.

Lincoln was recognized at last night’s Board of Education meeting, and we couldn’t be prouder of the impact he is making within our school community. We would also like to recognize the support and encouragement of his teacher, Mrs. Burke, and extend a special thank-you to Lincoln’s family for supporting this initiative and encouraging his leadership. Together, these efforts remind us how even small acts of service can make a big difference for others.

Way to go, Lincoln! 📚💙

Family game night was a hit at Monroe Center this week. Families and staff family came together to enjoy all different kinds of board games along with an ice cream social, and of course we wrapped up the evening with a trivia game. Thank you to all of those that helped in the planning and preparation, those who donated for the delicious treats, and of course to all the families who attended!

Mr. Jaxon was an incredible Principal for the Day! He worked with Mrs. Simpson, Officer Aaron, students, and many staff. He helped with supervision, took notes throughout the day, and did rounds with Mrs. Simpson and Officer Kingham. Luckily, he gave great feedback regarding the staff and students during our wrap up meeting at the end of the day. Thank you to the Elementary PTO for this wonderful opportunity. It was an honor to work with this young man all day!
